QNAP is going to introduce its two new Turbo NAS servers.The models are named as TS-439U-RP and TS-439U-SPK Turbo NAS Server.These NAS Servers have a four-drive design that fits into 1U racks and has hot-swappable bays.User can increase its capacity to 8TB by using 2TB Drives through these four Drive servers.These servers can also be configured to accommodate 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drives with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU and 1GB of RAM.
These NAS Servers can transfer data at 87.3MBps in RAID 5 mode.These servers also feature iSCSI Target service with Thin Provisioning, dual gigabit LAN ports with support for seven bonding modes and multi-IP setting.First model has two 150W power supplies.The second one comes with a single power supply.TS 439 U-RP and TS 439 U-SP NAS Servers are compatible with Mac, Windows, Linux, and Unix powered systems.The TS 439 U-RP and TS 439 U-SP NAS servers will be available later this month.The Price for both servers is yet to be confirm.
